Daisy Days

We have been enjoying a lazy sunday, which has been wonderful. Late getting up, delicious french toast (Addie enjoyed kiwis and yogurt), nap, groceries and lots of relaxing. I had such a fun time dressing her this morning (although, not specifically today, I always love dressing her), and decided today would be a daisy day to go along with the wonderful spring weather. As I was taking pictures of her, Miss Addie decided to multitask. As she was walking using her toy, she spotted her purse by the fireplace and decided, “if I’m going to be walking around, surely I need my purse and all of its contents.”

Walking around, checking stuff out...

...oooooh!!! My purse! Yeah! And great, my keys and lipstick are already packed!

Alright, now I'm ready to go!

After playing with her purse and trying to precariously walk one-handed, she decided to stand by the coffee table and waved at the television. Derek and I were watching the new show “Castle” – which incidentally is quite good – and she began staring at the TV and waving at it. It was so funny, hence why you will see the camera shaking a bit…

Ahh…lazy sundays. So good.

Eggs

We gave Adelaide some eggs for the first time yesterday morning and she liked it! She seemed slightly perturbed by its texture at first, but then it seemed like she enjoyed its squishy-ness! Again, if she knew how good eggs could be. As she was snacking on those, Derek and I were enjoying delicious eggs benedict with hollandaise sauce…so yummy! Only a few more years monkey and you too can enjoy our delicious breakfasts!
