Trip Itinerary

Only a few more hours to go, and we are off to New York! The final count for my internship interviews is 10/18. I was a bit disappointed that I did not receive more, but I am still hopeful that one of the 10 interviews will end up in an internship for me next year. So Adelaide, my sister Genevieve and I are leaving for Newark, NJ on monday morning and we will be there until the 16th. We then fly to Michigan and we will be there for 4 days. Here is our detailed itinerary. We originally hoped to go to Montreal, but there will not be any time…

1/5 – Fly out to Newark, NJ and stay in hotel

1/6 – Interview with University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, stay in hotel

1/7 – Leave for Monroe, NY, stay with Klaas and Ada (7-14)

1/8 – Visit the city

1/9 – Phone interviews with CSU Sacramento and UC Santa Barbara

1/10 – Visit the city, pick up Derek at airport

1/11 – Visit the city

1/12 – Phone Interview with University of Illinois at Chicago, Interview with Kings County in Brooklyn, Genevieve flies out

1/13 – Phone interview with Grand Valley State University

1/14 – Go into city to stay with Meghan and John (14-16)

1/15 – Interview at Pace University

1/16 – Interview at Columbia, fly out to Detroit, MI, rent car and drive to Grand Rapids, MI, stay with Anne and Larry and/or Marc and Denise (16-20)

1/17 – Stay with Teitsmas in Grand Rapids

1/18 – Drive to Chicago for day trip

1/19 – Site visit at Grand Valley State University

1/20 – Drive from Grand Rapids to Detroit, fly to Ontario, CA
